ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management (Modular)

The ILM Level 3 Certificate Program in Leadership and Management is designed for newly appointed Supervisors and Managers, and will help you develop a broad base of skills and knowledge to manage effectively in diverse business environments, and to acquire a qualification which offers a strong foundation for a career in management and leadership.


On completion of a minimum of 13 credits and the associated assessments, candidates receive the Level 3 Certificate from the ILM. This qualification can be used in career progression, and as credits towards the Certificate and Diploma Programs and Level 5 Qualification Programs.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: There are no formal entry requirements but participants will normally be practicing or aspiring first line managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the program

PROGRAM DURATION: Learners are free to complete the ILM Award and Certificate programs at their own pace. However, the Certificate in Leadership and Management must be completed within 1 year from the date of enrolment. You will need to set aside about 6 hours per week to complete this program in 4 months.

ASSESSMENT: The assessments required for the program comprise One Work-based assignment (4 to 5 pages),for each Unit.
